Where Is The Horse

Where Is The Horse is a world wide web traveling plateform for sharing ethical and conscious ways of living with one's environment through creative mediums.

I devote most of my time getting ready to launch Where Is The Horse. On october 31st 2016, @Dr.NO and @marysol will depart from Montreal for few years around the world to create documentaries, educational videos and photos. You can follow them on social medias and their web site.

My work

Hello and welcome to my site. I'm Marysol, a photographer based in Montreal (for now). I specialize in customized web video for all needs and photography in natural light. I travel to your home or to the place of your choice: at the park, in the streets of your neighbourhood, in the country ... and ideally where there is a beautiful ambient light. During a session, I erase myself behind my camera and I try to capture moments, details, a story ... I do not seek the perfect and static picture but a real image that suits you. Hope to see you soon I hope!

My vision

We are all one. Through where is the horse, I want to make the bridge between nations, cultures and differences that unites us. We are all part of the same game so why not play all together?

Biography

At the age of 19, Marysol starts traveling around the world by herself.  As she made her way through 12 + countries, meeting a full spectrum of humanity, she found that we are all so different, and yet some how through our differences we have also much in common. MarySol learned how to communicate beyond language in Turkey while living with a family where there was no shared language. She discovered through her travels in Egypt that the best way to share precious experiences is through video. Film connects and breaks stereotypes, so she returned back to school in Rivière du Loup to study film and documentary making. Two years later she wrote, directed, produced filmed and edited “Sayachapis”. “Sayachapis” is currently touring film festivals internationally. She became the official filmmaker for the festival Présences Autochtones. With them she directed and edited two short documentaries about First Nations artists: “Carving with the Heart” and Présences Autochtones. In 2013, MarySol met the incredible Mylène Paquette, the first person from the American continent to row across the North Atlantic on her own. MarySol worked with her for two years. Producing, directing and shooting the short film and footage that have been used in the media to tell Mylene Paquette’s story. MarySol’s gift is to meet amazing inspiring people and tell their stories through her filmmaking. Bringing their inspiring stories to light and sharing them. Her next adventure includes a camera and exploring indigenous cultures world wide to find ways to share their stories.
